Greetings!

      If you have kids, I'll bet you've heard this question before  "If there's a Mother's Day and a Father's Day, when is Kid's Day?"  And every parent since the dawn of time has answered (all together now) "Every day is Kid's Day!"
      Not only is every day Kid's Day, but the American Dental Association has declared February as Children's Dental Health month. Here in Medina, Dental Professionals visit local schools providing dental screenings, as well as fun, educational visits in the classrooms. The kids are always so interested in what we have to teach them.  It really brings home the importance of starting good dental health habits early.

     My recent Medina Gazette article, Here's to the Parents  takes a fun look at the challenges of parenting as well as  some easy tips to help your children develop a lifetime of healthy habits. My staff and I enjoy treating our young patients...one of the best parts of being a dentist is being a part of your family's life!  
      So the next time your kids ask when Kid's Day is, tell them Dr. Milewski said they get the entire month of February dedicated just to them. And that a month is better than a day anytime. 

      And let me know if  they buy it.  Mine never did!
