Amelia MitchellGreetings ,

Doesn't it feel wonderful when the light starts returning as spring arrives?

This month I am pleased to introduce Lymphatic Drainage Therapy, which detoxifies the body and boosts the immune system.

Speaking of introductions, one of the greatest pleasures of my career are my colleagues.  I get to meet and work with a inspiring group of healers in this community and across the country.  Each month I will introduce another therapist/healer/visionary who I trust and highly recommend.  This month I would like you to meet Pediatric and Equine CranioSacral Therapist, Laura Y. Inman.

Thank you for taking a moment with me this month.  I hope you continue to discover what is essential to your life and nurture it!Amelia Mitchell

March Special

Graphic Design & Web Design

Huh??

Well what does this bodyworker do on the side?  In a previous lifetime I was a professional graphic and web designer, and I still enjoy the work.

This is work I do at night and when my daughter is home; times when I am not practicing bodywork and it lets my creative side come out and play.

So, if you need a website, business cards, promotional materials or a complete new marketing strategy at an affordable price, give me a call today!

What is
Lymphatic Drainage Therapy?

Lymphatic Drainage Therapy (LDT) is a gentle technique that supports one of the body's most important systems.  Our lymphatic system detoxifies and regenerates our body's tissue, filters out toxins and foreign substances and maintains a healthy immune system.

Benefits

In essence, Lymphatic Drainage Therapy works to help recirculate body fluids, stimulate optimal function of the immune system and promote a state of relaxation and balance within the autonomic nervous system. It has been shown that when these actions are accomplished the results can include:

·          Reduction in edema (swelling)

·          Detoxification of the body

·          Regeneration of tissues: from burns, or scarring

·          Anti-aging effects

·          Valuable both pre and post surgery

·          Relief of chronic inflammation and conditions such as acne, rosacea, eczema and allergies

·          Immune system stimulation for preventive and therapeutic effects

·          Reduction in the symptoms of chronic fatigue syndrome and fibromyalgia

·          Relief of chronic pain

·          Deep relaxation to aid in relief from insomnia, depression, stress, loss of vitality and loss of memory

·          Alleviation of adiposis and cellulite tissue

Your session can focus exclusively on LDT or the therapy can be combined with Massage and CranioSacral Therapy to best meet your individualized needs.  I continue to advance my Lymphatic Drainage Therapy training with the Upledger Institute.

Remember when you book an hour session, you receive 60 minutes of bodywork, so be sure to allow time in your schedule!

Starting in just one week!

Introducing
Laura Y. Inman, CranioSacral Therapist

laura

Laura is an experienced CranioSacral Therapist who specializes in children and horses, although she happily works with grown-ups and pets also. CranioSacral therapy is a light touch therapy that engages the natural healing ability of the body to clear imbalances resulting from stressors.  In doing so, this therapy also alleviates pain and discomfort in the body.

The focus of Laura's bodywork practice is facilitating the conscious connection and communication with our Inner Intelligence (self-healing mechanism).  This ability to self-heal an injury or trauma is the same intelligence that heals our skin when it is cut and beats our heart for a lifetime.

In addition to extensive training in CranioSacral Therapy, Laura also has a depth of training in anatomy and physiology, posture and movement analysis, several forms of energy work including Reiki and chakra balancing, and Lymphatic Drainage Therapy.  She continues to expand her knowledge base in traditional and non-traditional classrooms.

Laura has recently moved to Annapolis, after running a successful private practice in Colorado for the last five years.  Generally, she visits horses and children on location Mondays and Fridays and sees clients in her office on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Laura believes that health on all levels is best accessed via conscious and compassionate connection on each level (e.g. physical, mental, emotional, spiritual, vibrational/energetic).
