STUDENT SHOWCASE

Student Showcase - 6:30pm-8:30pm
Art Sanctuary's North Stars invites parents, partners, and the community to its Student Showcase. This free event will feature students in a musical tribute honoring the "King of Pop" Michael Jackson, and performances featuring African dance and drumming, poetry and spoken word.

The students work with our stellar artist instructors: Trapeta Mayson (poetry), the Twins Poets of HBO's Def Jam (spoken word), LaTonya Grant (modern & hip-hop dance), Ira Bond (african dance and drumming) and Monnette Sudler-Honesty (music). The artists provide weekly instructions to students at various venues in the city.
