This Friday welcomes the return of our most popular event Boo at the Zoo! Boo is our biggest fundraiser
of the year and helps support the Zoo's family and educational
programming. We've got some returning favorites like the Friendly Haunted Forest, hay maze & wagon rides and exciting new features for 2010. Bring a few extra dollars for carousel rides
($2/ride), wagon & train rides ($1/person) and the gift store and
cafe will be open too!
Spoooktacular new Boo features! Ever
wondered who lives on that rickety old house on the corner? Dare to enter
our haunted house and find out!
 The
culinary students of New Bedford Voc-Tech High School will carve jack-o-lantern
creations the first & third weeks of Boo at the Zoo. During the second week of Boo (Oct. 22-24), The art
students of Susan Cabral and the Bierstadt Art Society will donate 100 pumpkins to light the zoo pathways.
 "The Green
Halloween campaign is a nationwide, non-profit, grassroots initiative to create
healthier and more eco-friendly holidays, starting with Halloween." Green
Halloween will be donating Larabars, Cascadian Famrs Granola Bars and Stretch
Island Fruit Strips to Boo at the Zoo. Keep up to date with the latest Boo news by visiting our Facebook page or www.bpzoo.org.
