Guests, volunteers and EWI immigrant artists had the opportunity to share stories, connect ,and most importantly celebrate a history of women's visions and beliefs through art, activisms and entrepreneurial spirit. Tuesday, March 25, The Mayor of Alexandria and members of the City Council honored Barbara Harman and Kathy Jankowski of the Catalogue for Philanthrophy with a Proclamation for their vision to offer donors a vetted list of excellent, trustworthy nonprofits. Six non-profits serving Alexandria citizens were selected to be included in the 2007-2008 Catalogue and these are Empowered Women International, ALIVE, Community Lodgings, Friends of Guest House,  The Literacy Council of Northern Virginia and Senior Services of Alexandria.
