It's Cherry Wine Season! And, we invite you to share in the summer festivities! 

 

It's time to make Cherry Wine! The Montmorency Sour Pie Cherries are coming from Hotchkiss Colorado this year and we'll be running the cherries through the old time, hand crank, grape crusher on Wednesday afternoon. 

 

And then it's a Balistreri tradition to make homemade cherry pie! 

 

So stop in this Friday, Saturday, or Sunday to help us celebrate the Cherry Crush. Scroll down to see who's making all the scrumptious Pies this year!!!

It's also time to purchase your tickets for the Annual KUVO radio station Jazz Concert here at the winery. It's Mambo at the Vineyard Sat. August 11th.  We hear master trombonist Steve Turre' will be playing conch shells! More details below and check out the menu from all the fabulous participating restaurants!

Cherry Pies at the Winery!
This Weekend August 3rd, 4th & 5th, 2012 

 

Cherries have arrived from the Western Slope and we're crushing  another vintage for our Colorado Cherry Wine! To celebrate the cherry harvest we will be baking some homemade cherry pies with the help of expert pastry chef, Jessica Scott and our friends at Blackbelly Catering,Top Chef Hosea Rosenberg & Sous Chef Nate Singer.  All weekend long you can watch these masters bake-up our delicious Montmorency Sour Pie Cherries in a homemade crust and then enjoy a fresh slice. You can also enjoy a whole pie to share or take home for later!
