E- News from the Balistreri Tasting Room April 2012

Spring is here! So there's a lot of action here at the winery with landscaping outside the new building as well as a ton of new wines to taste. Over the next two weeks we'll be spending a few hours in the cellar tasting over 250 barrel samples to choose some extra special wines for our Annual Spring Barrel Tasting Dinners. The dinners will take place in our new cellar for the first time.
We also invite you to help us welcome in the season with these upcoming events happening this month.
- Monday April 16th a delicious "foodie" reception with the "Denver Five" in the new Balistreri Ballroom.
- Friday April 20th the Annual Night of Wine & Roses at Tagawa Garden Center in Parker, a great complimentary event.
- Sunday April 22nd Taste of Pearl @ Pearl Street Mall in Boulder. Wine, Food and shopping!
- If you tweet, Saturday April 28th Colorado Wine Twitter Taste-Off during the Drink Local Wine conference @ the Auraria Campus.
- Thurs, Fri, Sat, May 10th 11th & 12th Our Annual Spring Barrel Tasting Dinners. We are very pleased to announce that the very talented Chef Hosea Rosenberg will be our guest chef for all three nights. It's sure to be a culinary experience! Winemaker John and Chef Hosea will be tasting a lot of wines for the perfect pairings! Tickets are available now and the Menu will be announced soon!

This Monday, April 16th 
The Denver FIVE is hosting their 5th season kick-off reception here at Balistreri Vineyards on Monday, April 16th. This year's FIVE™ culinary team of top Denver chefs include: Tyler Wiard, Samir Mohammad, Jenna Johansen, Jessica Scott and, Hosea Rosenberg. The evening will bring you plenty of unique appetizers and sweet treats from these award-winning chefs along with your favorite Balistreri wine. A Night of Wine and Roses
Tagawa Garden Center - Parker,CO Once again Balistreri Vineyards and Tagawa Garden Center are joining  together for an enjoyable Night of Wine and Roses. Come sample the latest Balistreri Wines and nibble on Artisan cheeses, fruits & crackers while enjoying the fresh, springtime garden ambiance. It's a great night to buy your favorite wines and buy your favorite rose bushes so you can enjoy both during a Summer evening at home! This will be the first time Tagawa's potted rose bushes are available for sale this year. Additionally, everything in their store this evening will be 20% off!!

Winemaker John Balistreri welcomes you into his cellar for exclusive wine tasting dinners. A great opportunity to experience wine in the making and get a sneak preview of his new wines.
We very excited to be teaming up with local Chef, Hosea Rosenberg, of Blackbelly Catering, Winner of Bravo's Top Chef Season 5, and member of the 2012 Denver Five.
Chef Hosea will prepare an original 5 course dinner complemented by 7 new Balistreri Wines sampled straight from the barrel.
