Greetings!
 Tis the Season! It's a busy time of year for all. We want to wish you a very Happy Holiday Season and we hope you're finding time to enjoy some Balistreri Wine with family and friends.
Here at the winery we're still barreling 09 wine. The new 2009 Port was just transferred into barrels for a long winters nap. And then, "Gift Basket Headquarters" has been in full swing. If your looking for a special wine gift, check our wine page and or gift page on line and then give us a call to order. We can ship or you can pick up at the winery.
We've had several calls looking for that paper copy of our holiday news letter to arrive in the mail. This year we had to go "green". Most all of our correspondence is now done by e-mail.
We would also like to send a sincere thank you to all for supporting Balistreri Vineyards throughout 2009, and we look forward to fun 2010 events and more great wines.

Balistreri Hot Spiced Wine
1 Bottle Balistreri Everyday Merlot--- the 2007 Colorado Merlot( Three Vineyards) is our choice for this year!
1/2 cup Sugar
Dash of Nutmeg
Dash of Jamaican All Spice
Big Dash of Ground Cinnamon
10 Whole Cloves
4 Cinnamon Sticks
Stir all ingredients together and heat until piping hot. A small crock pot works great for holiday parties. Delicious and relaxing especially after skiing! Enjoy! |
