Grand Rapids Chair has partnered with Burch Fabrics Group to bring you the Vibrance Collection - a grade 30, high performance upholstery with INCASE Crypton technology. INCASE uses silver ion technology - nature's protection against microbes, bacteria and odors - and is perfect for applications that require the resistance to spills, stains, odors and microbes, but do not require a moisture barrier.

The Vibrance collection is earth friendly - made with 100% recycled polyester - and carries certifications from SCS Indoor Advantage Gold and MBDC Cradle to Cradle. It includes five distinct patterns - Fast Track, Focal Point, Livewire, Quadrant and Tangle - that offer crossover potential into office, hospitality and education markets. The textural solids, lively circles, modern geometric forms and intertwining lines in each unique pattern entertain the eye while offering a pleasing and playful color palette.

In addition to these large, national events, we also participate in numerous regional events throughout the course of the year. These events range from hospitality to contract, and education to healthcare. We thoroughly enjoy these opportunities to engage with each of you.

Here's where we've been most recently:

METROCON - Dallas, TX (August 12-13)

The largest design-related regional expo and conference in the United States. This event is organized through a volunteer collaboration between the Texas Chapter of ASID and the Texas / Oklahoma Chapter of IIDA.

NEWH Regional - Dallas, TX (October 14)

One of several regional events held by NEWH throughout the year, giving members an opportunity to meet with manufacturers at regional locations. The next NEWH show will be on January 13 in Orlando. We'll be there...

AUID 2010 Conference & Design Competition - Atlanta, GA (October 18)

The annual meeting of the Association of University Interior Designers. Congratulations to Molly O'Donnell from Indiana University who won the Grand Rapids Chair door prize - two Mojo chairs or barstools.

NEOtini 2010 - St. Louis, MO (October 22)

An annual event sponsored by the Mid-America Chapter of IIDA. This event functions as a regional "NeoCon" - giving members an opportunity to see each other and experience products from a wide range of manufacturers.

And last but not least...

This week we'll be at the Missouri Hospital Association Annual Convention & Trade Show in Osage Beach, Missouri. This year's theme is The Road Ahead: Transforming Health Care. We hope to see some of you there.
