"We came away from the exhibit with emotions of inspiration, hope and respect for the people of Africa - admiring the passion and determination to share the positive side," Jennifer Charles and her bookclub friends,  Atlanta, Georgia USA 

Over 250 enthusiastic people created a wonderfully warm atmosphere at the "Actionable Art for Africa" Opening Night Reception. The Atlanta premiere of GoGlobalTV's exhibit series, "Africa: Untold Stories Through the Lens," featured photography of the Samburu, Masai and children of Zanzibar with a silent auction of the internationally acclaimed Samburu children's paintings. The event combined photography and video to share inspiring human interest stories and raise awareness about the under-told critical issues faced by the people portrayed in the photographs. 

Over 40 photographs and paintings were sold, raising $ 4,300 to benefit the people in the photographs through local infrastructure, health and education projects in Kenya and Tanzania. Exhibit photograph favorites, "The Girl in the White Dress" and "Zanzibar Beauty" raised funds to pay for THREE years of education for Kauther, a little girl in Zanzibar who presently does not attend school.
