PVAA LACROSSE
|
The PVAA Predator Lacrosse Program has extended registration through December 31st. Come joins us and play the fastest game on two feet!
Lacrosse is the fastest growing sport in the nation. It combines and enhances skills developed in all other sports. The quickness and agility learned on the basketball court, the speed and endurance from the soccer pitch, and the hand/eye coordination from the hockey rink are all the skills that lacrosse builds on. More importantly, lacrosse is growing because the game is simply fun.
We have simplified our registration program for this extended period. If you go to our new web page, www.pvpredatorslax.com, you can download our registration forms and mail them to Cheri Hill at 745 Sandy Oaks Court, PVB.

PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE
|
|
Dear parents,
Welcome back from the Thanksgiving break! We have so much to be thankful for here at Landrum. In particular, I am very thankful to have such strong parental support. In addition, I am also thankful for the the high level of dedication of our teachers and staff members. Together we are able to accomplish great things with our students!
We are now in the process of refocusing on progress monitoring our students. We recently completed our second round of Write Score testing and all students are working through ePath so we are able to gain feedback on our students' progress in math and science. We appreciate your support as you remind your child of the importance of studying, completing work, and working hard in class every day. In addition, I strongly encourage you to continue to communicate with our teachers and guidance counselors.
We are looking forward to our Science Fair on December 12. Our students, parents, and volunteers have worked tirelessly to support our students with their science fair projects. We will have our award ceremony on Monday, December 15, 6:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m. We appreciate your continued support in the morning as we move cars through our parent pick up line. We must let more cars in from the 210/Palm Valley side in order to keep traffic flowing. When we stop the traffic from the 210/Palm Valley side to let cars in from the Roscoe side, we must also stop any cars from exiting the school at the same time. This creates a grid lock situation. Prior to 7:35 a.m. the traffic flow is very smooth. At 7:35 a.m. traffic starts to back up. It may be helpful to arrive a few minutes earlier in order to ensure your child is in class on time. In order to protect instructional time, we will continue with our tardy policy, but we need your support. It may also be prudent to use the district transportation and it is also important to remember that we open the facility for student arrival at 7:15 a.m.
Sincerely,
Mr. King Principal
