 TONIGHT: 'Come OUT' and meet Bill and Ann Ogg Bill and Ann Ogg are two of our newest PFLAG Phoenix support group facilitators, and they'd love nothing more than to have you come to their new North Scottsdale support location TONIGHT so they can meet you.
Bill and Ann are 'snowbirds' who live in Colorado, and after their daughter 'came out' as a lesbian, they quickly saw the need for PFLAG support for other families. Their passion for support is so strong that they were determined to start a new PFLAG support group in the underserved northeast area of the Valley (where they spend their winters). Their North Scotssdale support group is now meeting on the second Thursday of each month at Via de Cristo United Methodist Church. Their support meeting starts at 7:00pm, and Bill and Ann are hoping you'll 'come out' to meet them and to help them learn more about the Valley and our GLBT community.
While Bill and Ann are 'snowbirds', PFLAG Phoenix has plans in place to continue this North Scottsdale support group during the summer months while Bill and Ann are back home in Colorado. Former chapter president Dave Pape will serve as facilitator during those months. However, Bill, Ann, and Dave would greatly appreciate another co-facilitator volunteer to fill in during times when one of them is away on vacation or other business.
