 Why Give Us Your Financial $upport? You (hopefully) already know that our dedicated volunteers staff three local support meetings around the Valley each month (and a fourth will be announced soon!). While our volunteers do this work for free, it takes money to cover meeting space rental fees, PFLAG literature costs, and other supplies needed to conduct these meetings. We also must pay for our website, this email service, and other common organizational costs.
Those costs shouldn't surprise anyone. However, did you know that your financial support also directly helps us:
- send local GLBT youth to Arizona leadership events and camps?
- supply bottled water to 1N10 for their weekly GLBT youth support meetings?
- assist new Arizona PFLAG chapters (like PFLAG Payson, PFLAG Casa Grande, PFLAG Winslow, and PFLAG Prescott) get up and running in their communities by covering their start-up costs?
- provide financial scholarships to worthy college-bound GLBT and straight allied youth?
- attend local community events with PFLAG literature in hand to give away freely to those who need us?
