 The Same-Sex Marriage Rollercoaster Continues... After rejoicing in the sudden legalization of same-sex marriage in Iowa, Vermont, and Maine, our community suffered an upsetting setback in our struggle to attain marriage equality in California when Proposition 8 was upheld by the California Supreme Court on May 26th. However, as we always do when facing adversity, we immediately began planning for the next step to take.

June 5th: Dr. Phil assembles high profile panel to debate same-sex marriage. This episode will air at 1:00pm on local channel 3 (a different episode will air at 7:00pm).
June 6th: Get your wheels washed at the Big Gay Car Wash benefitting the 1N10 Youth Leadership Camp.
June 17th: Local PBS station to air "Independent Lens: Ask Not" which explores the U.S. military's "don't ask, don't tell" policy that was implemented in 1993. As always, we can count on our local PBS station to air any program dealing with gay subject matter super late at night -- this time at 1:00am.
