 Phoenix Domestic Partner Registration Begins Feb. 9th Phoenix couples can begin to register for the city's domestic partner registry at 9 a.m. Monday, Feb. 9, at Phoenix City Hall, assembly room B. Unmarried same-sex or opposite-sex partners who live together will be charged a $50 non-refundable fee to register as domestic partners, which will grant them hospital-visitation rights to Phoenix hospitals, nursing homes, rehabilitation centers and other health-care facilities. For those planning to be among the first in line, you can probably anticipate some media presence along with Equality Arizona on hand to cheer you on. Congratulations to all you Phoenix domestic partners who will receive the above-specified rights upon your registration (and our condolences to all you domestic partners residing in other Valley cities -- this registry is only for Phoenix residents).
