I've helped hundreds of people through career transitions.

I'm not talking about writing resumes and sessions on how to interview.  There are plenty of folks who can do that.

I'm talking about answering some very basic questions about what you really want in life and devising a strategy for getting it.  Don't repeat your past.

What a Wonderful World!
Tripping on global connection and other miracles
Greetings!

I had an AHA! moment last week when I realized that I wanted to collect stories about women who have been through life-altering transitions in their lives and write a book from their stories.  I posted the request to LinkedIn yesterday and I have been overwhelmed by the response and the quality of the stories, from all over the world.

I've just gotten the "point" of all this social networking and I'm astounded by the possibility, connectedness, resources and synchronicities our global connectedness offers us, literally at our fingertips.

It feels like magic, fills me with wonder, and with a sense of limitless possibility.

I was working with a client this morning and she echoed my thoughts when she said "There's just no reason NOT to be successful!  There is just so much opportunity around us!"

So, as we turn down the volume of our news radio and television, let's consider creating a kind of mental "news filter," focusing instead on what's really working and the abundance of resources and possibilities around us.

This filtering, this focusing doesn't mean we should be in an ignorant denial of what's really going on in the world,  but only that we enlarge our focus to include all that's amazing, beautiful, rich and abundant.

Even in our "uncertain times", I am certain of this: life is beautiful and there is so much good happening, right now.

With wonder,
Lori Darley

CirclesThe Success Game
Coaching Group Starts April 10

What's the one thing highly successful people have in common?  Virtually no one does it alone.  Sign up for The Success Game and you'll be astounded by what a difference a team of committed players can make to YOUR success.  Facilitated by a coach trained in success principles, you will get the support you need to move beyond your predictable future.

Here's how it works.  You call in 3 times a month for a one hour conversation. Everyone participates.  You set your goals and your timeline to achieve them.  You bring fun and commitment to your game.  Everyone gets the advantage of working with a highly trained coach.  No forcing.  No shame.  No blame.

Benefits?  Too many to count but here are a few:
  • It's just plain EASIER when you go public with your commitments.
  • Your success contributes to the group's success and vice versa.
  • It's more fun!

What do people say about the benefits of working with a coaching group?

  • I got to work in an environment of positive support (...and leave all the bad news behind)
  • I got more business and worked on bigger deals (...stopped letting fear stop me)
  • Found work that I LOVE!
  • Healthier life-style habits
  • More focus, less fear, more velocity
  • Breakthroughs in communication and relationships with challenging co-workers.  Even the boss!
  • Reduced stress

It's easy, fun AND affordable, and you'll get to dump the "All by Myself" theme song!

Illuminations & Ruminations
More thoughts on connection, magic and goodness

"Above all, watch with glittering eyes the whole world around you, because the greatest secrets are always hidden in the most unlikely places. Those who don't believe in magic will never find it."
- Roald Dahl

"One thing we can do is make the choice to view the world in a healthy way. We can choose to see the world as safe with only moments of danger rather than seeing the world as dangerous with only moments of safety."
- Deepak Chopra

"When you look at the world in a narrow way, how narrow it seems! When you look at it in a mean way, how mean it is! When you look at it selfishly, how selfish it is!
But when you look at it in a broad, generous, friendly spirit, what wonderful people you find in it."
- Horace Rutledge
