Pigapalooza - It's Not too Late!!
Saturday, September 8, 2012, 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Newmarket Mills Courtyard
Looking for something fun to do this first post-Labor Day weekend? Come celebrate with the Newmarket Mills community and join us for the Popper's Pig Roast. Admission is $25 and includes all you can eat roasted pig, chicken and plenty of good 'ole sides, live blue grass music, face painting, ice carving demonstrations, silent auction items and more. Join the farm-to-table community and help to raise money for End 68 Hours of Hunger and Seacoast Eat Local. Admission for children under 10 is free. Tickets can be purchased at Popper's at the Mill at 55 Main Street or in the Newmarket Mills Management Office in Suite 311. Tickets will also be available at the event, although space is limited to 300! A special admission rate of $15 is offered for Newmarket Mills residents and tenants.
15th Annual Newmarket Heritage Festival
Saturday September 22, 2012, 10 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
The Newmarket Heritage Festival is the Seacoast's favorite international block party and you're invited! Where else can you to try African drumming and Irish ceili dancing, medieval sword fighting and juggling? Doo-wop tunes and barbershop harmonies; Polish accordion music and a Bavarian oompah band; Laotian, Indian, and Flamenco dancing--they're all on the festival stage in the heart of this historic mill town. Also featured: artisans at work, fine arts and crafts vendors, great food, kayaking and boat tours, medieval sword-fighting, a model railway, history walks, and a harvest supper. Special fun for kids: try-it-yourself traditional crafts, farm animals, a climbing wall, a bungee bounce, juggling, a mini-raceway, and more! See you at the festival! Business Feature and Invitation to Opening:
Please join Sheila and Walter McQuire for the grand opening celebration of the Serenity Hair Studio from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 16. Check out the brand new Studio in Suite 411, with its gorgeous surroundings of the Mill and the views of the Lamprey River. Please join for wine, food and fun! There will be a raffle and bags of special giveaways.
Serenity Hair Studio offers hair styling for men, women and children. This includes coloring, perms and Keratin hair treatments as well as facial waxing. The studio will be open for general business starting Tuesday, September 18. Please visit the website for hours of operation.
Phase II Apartment Update: The apartments are all leased at this time but we will keep you posted as residences become available. Fitness room and club rooms will be open by the end of the month. Yoga at the Mill
