"Christmas in July " on July 22nd

Main Street Vermilion and the Vermilion Chamber of Commerce are again sponsoring "Christmas in July"
in downtown Vermilion.
On Friday, July 22nd, 8:30p.m., Santa will arrive by boat to Exchange Park. Following Santa's entrance and fun with the families, there will be a FREE holiday-themed movie.

Coming in July - Vermilion Farmers Market

The Vermilion Farmers Market is back by popular demand at new times and with new vendors. Local produce, baked goods, fresh cut flowers and olive oils are among the selection vendors will be offering this summer. Plan to shop for locally grown and produced items Saturdays beginning July 16th through September 24th, from 10am - 2pm.

"Jelly Belly on Tour" Wednesday, July 13th, 11 - 3

Main Street member and supporter Brummer's Chocolates, is bringing the Jelly Belly bus to Vermilion! Touring jelly bean experts will share the secrets of making Jelly Belly jelly beans and have samples of the newest flavors. Jelly Bellies currently have 92 flavors. Join the fun at Brummer's, Wednesday, July 13th!

Heritage Ohio Meeting in Piqua

My recent visit to Piqua for the Heritage Ohio meetings was packed with information valuable to our Main Street Organization. The conference on Tuesday, June 28th featured speakers who explained the value of downtown and city planning. In the afternoon we toured an area of Piqua in need of direction and brainstormed ideas. On Wednesday, June 29th, the managers networked, shared ideas and learned of Heritage Ohio updates. Among the topics shared was the need for emergency plans for outdoor events (in case of severe storms), farmers markets, coffee camps and business networking and the possible name change for one of the main Heritage Ohio committees. Traveling to southern Ohio this summer? Piqua is a great place to visit.
