Donate Now to Make Clean Energy a Reality in All Communities
Many of San Diego's low-income communities have not seen the benefits of our booming green economy, yet have suffered worst from dirty energy industries and nearby power plants. Donate now to change this. These residents want to be part of the climate change solution, too. EHC works to create real opportunities that produce new jobs, save money, and build cleaner, safer neighborhoods.
"My kids are proud to show their friends our solar panels and I'm happy to see them excited about doing their part for the environment." -Lilia Escalante
Resident of Southcrest
Right now EHC is working with CA Environmental Justice Alliance (CEJA) for "Solar for All," legislation that will bring solar to more families like Lilia's. This legislation would create green jobs and clean air by supporting at least 1000 small scale renewable energy projects in disadvantaged communities with a preference for local hiring.
