Margarita Garcia knows that raising a healthy family is hard enough without worrying that your neighborhood is making your child sick. She's a mother, a grandmother, and an active member of EHC's Community Action Team in National City. Margarita works with her neighbors and friends to organize and demand improvements that will lead to a healthier community and a brighter future.

Margarita is more than an activist. She's also an EHC donor.

"I give to EHC so that we can continue working for environmental justice in my community, and most of all to improve children's health - our future. When children are in good health, they can have a better education and prepare to be good citizens to continue fighting to improve the quality of life in their community."
