*The PTA Cookbook committee for all of their hard work to put together the St. Mary's School Cookbook.
*All of the SMS families, St. Padre Pio Parishoners, and members of our community for their support of the Calendar Raffle.
*Mrs. Marie Watson a Pre-K4 parents who sold $500.00 in calendar raffle tickets! We are so appreciative of your time and effort to sell so many tickets!
*Mrs. Kristaann Corona for all of her hard work to promote TRIP Ticket Sales. She stands in the back of Our Lady of Pompeii Church every week after 9:00 & 10:30 masses to sell TRIP cards.
*St. Padre Pio Parishoners ~ their participation in the TRIP program to date has resulted in $6,130.00 in gift cards sold which is a profit of $303.17 for St. Mary's School.
*The parents who gave of their time to welcome parents to our school during the "Meet and Greet" with Mr. Hogan at St. Mary's School and to the PTA Refreshments Committee for providing desserts.
*The Grandparents Association for providing lunch for our children on Valentine's Day!

PTA HAPPENINGS!
Our cookbook is taking shape! There are over 150 delicious and amazing recipes. Thank you to all who have made a contribution, we could not have done this without you. Our final production will be ready by Mother's Day!

Highlights of February Events
The PTA Meeting featuring a presentation by two state troopers on Cyberbullying and Internet Safety was very informative and well attended. Dress Down passes were given to all who attended.
The PTA Cookbook Committee produced a beautiful cookbook that has been sent to Fundcraft Publishers. The cookbooks should be available in May. Presale orders of $10.00 are still being accepted.
Wine, Chocolate, Tapas Social was hard at work getting ready for the event. Stay tuned for a soon to be released publicity announcement.
The calendar raffle has been a huge success this year. Our goal is to raise $10,000.00. To date, we have a profit of $9,540.00 and ticket sales continue to come in every day !!! Faith, Family, Fun Night: April 14th: Run For Aaron 5K & 1 Mile Walk ~ Begins & Ends at Rosary Hall: 7:30am is Registration & 9:00am Race. The PTA Faith, Family, Fun Committee is hoping to have as many students and families participate as possible. Aaron was a student at St. Mary's School and we want to honor his memory. Proceeds benefit the Aaron Memorial Scholarship Fund- for more information, click here: www.runforaaron.com. CLASSROOM CONTEST!!!!
Get your Box Tops, Campbell Labels, Tyson Labels, and Juice Pouches in to your students classrooms as soon as possible!!! We are still holding a contest for the remainder of the year! The top 3 classrooms with the most combined totals of labels will receive a prize. The class who collects the most wins a dress down pass and ice cream party. The classes in 2nd and 3rd place will win a dress down pass. The deadline to submit is May 25th!
Prizes to be awarded on May 31st.

FUNDRAISERS:
Remember, YOUR CHILD directly benefits from your support of these fundraisers. We appreciate your support! Calendar Raffle: Tickets are $20 each. Please buy or sell your five tickets and let us know if you need more. There are three winners each week: 1st prize: $100.00, 2nd and 3rd prize: $50.00 each. Grand Prize Drawing ~ May 19th PTA Family Social: 1st Prize: $1000 2nd Prize: $500 3rd Prize: $250 Laps for Learning: April 27th ~ This week you will be receiving a detailed packet with information about this upcoming fundraiser. Please take time to review it. Our children will spend time at school personalizing sponsorship letters to raise money for our school while learning proper writing skills. The sponsor sheet with the list of potential sponsors and labels is due March 20th. There are lots of fun incentive prizes for our children. Please send in the Parent Volunteer Form if you would like to help with this event. Thank you! PTA Family Social and Lip Sync Contest: May 19th (SAVE THE DATE) in St. Mary School Gym. Dinner and dessert for parents, children, grandparents, aunts, uncles, etc. to enjoy will start off our night. A Chinese Auction for family fun items, a silent auction for class designed pottery pieces, and a Live Auction for parking spaces and signage will delight us. A Lip Sync Show featuring faculty, staff, and interested parents (hint, hint) will entertain us. The night will end with a bang when we announce the Grand Prize Calendar Raffle Winners! A call for volunteers to help with this event as well as sign-ups for the Lip Sync Contest will be sent out soon! We would appreciate your help!
