SAINTS ON PARADE
Thank you for sharing All Saints Day with us!

MONTH OF THE HOLY SOULS
St. Mary School is a powerhouse of prayer!  The children during the month of November (Month of the Holy Souls) have been praying daily for all the deceased of the parish, especially the deceased of the families who are listed on the All Souls forms that you returned to the school.  This form was sent home to all families at the beginning of November in the Wednesday Communication Envelope.  These names have been enthroned in a "Book of Remembrance" that is located in the school foyer.  If you forgot to return the form, please feel free to send it in to school.  If you cannot find the form, please list your deceased on a piece of typing paper and it will be inserted in our "Book of Remembrance."
ADORATION
At the core of our school success is the guiding movement of the Holy Spirit through continual prayer.  Would you be interested in praying for the school community with our students?  With the beginning of the new year in January, Mr. Hogan plans on inviting parents and grandparents to come and pray with students in adoration before the Blessed Sacrament on a pre-determined day once a month.  Many grandparents have already signed on!  If you would be interested, please email Mr. Hogan at  principal@smrschool.org.
BAND PROGRAM
Would your child be interested in learning how to play an instrument?  Mr. Hogan would like to pursue an establishment of a band program if there are enough interested students between the grades of 3-8.  Email Mr. Hogan if you think your child would be interested.  You can contact Mr. Hogan at  principal@smrschool.org.
SUPPORT SMS ATHLETIC PROGRAMS
Mr. Hogan is interested in establishing an Athletic Committee for the school. The purpose of the committee is to coordinate and plan all athletic activities, schedules and fundraisers.  The committee will also work to develop and plan new sports programs for the students. The committee would meet once a month for an hour during the school year. This committee would consist of an Athletic Director (Mrs. Wescott), an Assistant Athletic Director, Treasurer, and Secretary along with parent representatives.  All coaches would be considered a part of this committee.  If you would be interested in holding the position of  Assistant Athletic Director, Treasurer, Secretary or parent representative, please contact Mr. Hogan at principal@smrschool.org.
