Global Journal's Top 100 Best NGOs Landesa was selected as one of the 100 best NGOs in the world, ranked by the Global Journal. Landesa is honored to be ranked #34 among a list of organizations that are making a transformative difference in the world. The list includes several others from the "corridor of compassion" - the Pacific Northwest - including PATH (#6), and Mercy Corps (#11).

Landesa Contributes to New Book: Making Equal Rights Real

Making Equal Rights Real The Landesa Center for Women's Land Rights' executive director, Renée Giovarelli, and director Elisa Scalise, authored the chapter Promoting Equity in Economic Rights: The Case of Gender and Land Rights in the new book, "Making Equal Rights Real." The book is a collection of insights from leaders around the world describing effective approaches to creating greater social and economic equality.

2012 Seed the Change luncheon

Help Seed the Change by being part of our 2012 annual luncheon on March 9th, in celebration of International Women's Day. We are currently recruiting table hosts to invite nine friends and colleagues to our event, featuring keynote speaker Sidney Rittenberg, author of "The Man Who Stayed Behind." There is no cost to host a table or attend the luncheon.
