Kakslauttanen is situated in the Saariselkä fell area of Finnish Lapland and is home to a stylish igloo village with domes made from both snow and glass. What better way of seeing the Northern Lights than from your own cosy glass igloo? Built from a special thermal glass, the temperature inside always stays at a normal level. It also prevents the glass from frosting, ensuring you the perfect view of the aurora, even when mercury plummets outside.  Kakslauttanen's proximity to Santa's Resort, where guests are received in Santa's House by elves serving hot drinks and ginger biscuits, means it is an excellent destination for families with young children. The resort also offers first-class traditional log cabin accommodation and a wide range of winter activities are available.
