Hello,
Come In Out Of The Cold
Before January ends with its very snowy weather, NHS would like to know if you or anyone you know may be having difficulty paying your/their mortgage? These are still precarious times with unemployment showing small signs of recovery. Nationally, 1 out of 200 homes will be foreclosed upon, according to NeighborWorks America. In Connecticut, here is the current trend by county as posted on Realty Trac.

At the HomeOwnership Center it is our mission to make homeownership affordable for everyone through mortgage intervention and foreclosure mitigation counseling. With the aid of experienced counselors, we can assist you along the road that leads to keeping your home despite even the harshest of circumstance. If you need help, please call us at 203-777-6925, visit our website, www.nhsofnewhaven.org/foreclosure-prevention www.nhsofnewhaven.org/foreclosure-prevention, or stop by our office at 333 Sherman Avenue for information on the next steps needed to get the help you need. We have spanish-speaking staff available.
You can also register for our next Foreclosure Intervention Clinic that takes place next Tuesday, January 25 at 5:30 pm. Please call Norma at 203-777-6925. She will tell what you need to do to register. This clinic is offered every Tuesday from 5:30 pm - 7:30 pm.
