2012 New Year Baby

Congratulations to Brooke Anne Oldenberg! Brooke was the first baby born in the new year and Lakeview Medical Center's first new year baby born in the new hospital!

Brook was born on January 4, 2012. She is the daughter of Nissa Lund of Rice Lake and Tim Oldenberg of Chetek. Congratulations to Mom and Dad!

The Chamber gave her a $50 Rice Lake Gift Certificate, an engraved suncatcher, and a basket of goodies. President Lynda Rogstad of the LMC Volunteer Partners presented the family with a car seat and a supply of diapers.

American Cancer Society's Daffodil Days

Give the gift of hope during Daffodil Days.
One of the first flowers of spring, the daffodil is the symbol of hope. To the American Cancer Society, this flower represents the hope we all share that cancer will one day be eliminated.

Order your bright yellow daffodils today! We need to place the order by February 13th.

Follow this link to an order form with details and contact us today.

Attention Members!

Rice Lake Gift Certificates are easy to use and accept!

Over the Holidays and throughout the year we have sold over $50,000 worth of Rice Lake Gift Certificates. There are many of them out there to be used yet.

Please accept them as if they were cash. The merchant when he deposits them (as a check) into his account receives the full value of the certificate. We have tried to keep the certificate values low so that it is easier for you to give change back if needed.

We ask that you inform your employees about the certificates and make sure that they are accepting them.

These gift certificates are keeping spending local! Help us support our local businesses and members!
