Operation Santa
The Rice Lake Moose Lodge is again asking for your help for Barron County area families. A huge effort is made to work with other area Christmas groups so that each family is only helped by one organization. They need toys for all ages, hats, gloves, scarves, mittens, movie tickets, gift certificates, books, games, puzzles, soap, shampoo, diapers, blankets ets. They try not to take clothing because it is hard to match them with the families the way our program is set up. Please drop off any donations marked for Operation Santa at the Moose Lodge in the mornings from 9 a.m. to noon or after 3 p.m. daily. You can have items picked up from your home by calling 715-234-9304 (Cindy Lamers) or 715-236-2900 (Moose Lodge). If you wish to help with a monetary donation, please make your check payable to Operation Santa and send to: Rice Lake Moose Family Center, 40 East Newton St, Rice lake, WI 54868. Names of familes in need will be accepted starting November 28, 2011. To submit a family please call Cindy Lammers at 715-234-9304.
