Spotlighting you...

Local Culligan dealer, Jim Luedtke, and the culligan manager, Kelly Licht, attended the Culligan 75th Aniversary convention in Orlando, Florida on April 14th-17th.

Luedtke received a Premier Award for achieving superior growth in overall revenue for a medium population market. Only 10% of the dealers in the US were recognized for this award. Luedtke also received a Community Service Award for "making a notable positive impact on his community."

Kelly Licht was inducted into the Culligan Sales Hall of Fame for outstanding achievement for the Culligan System. Only a very select group of career Culligan sales reps make the Hall of Fame. Licht has worked in Culligan dealerships in Marshfield, Wausau, Stillwater, MN and Tomah before coming to Rice Lake in 1994.

UW-BC Career Fair

The career fair was a great success! It was held on May 19, at the UW-BC Gym. There were 50 different careers being represented. The kids had a lot of fun learning about the different careers. Please click the LINK to see the video.

Banner Ad Space Available on the Chamber's Economic Development Website

We have three banner ad spaces available for anyone of our members interested in having their ad on the Economic Development page on the Chamber's website.

The cost is $50 a month (billed quarterly at $150), plus the one time set-up fee which depends on your ad.

Teacher of the Year 2011 Award

Nominations for the 2011 Teacher of the Year are due now. Applications are available at the schools, the Chamber, or online at www.ricelakechamber.org. Nominations need to be turned in to the Chamber office by Friday, June 10th.

We encourage you or your children to nominate a teacher who has had an impact on our youths education. The teacher will be recognized/honored at the Chamber's Annual Dinner on September 15th, 2011.
