News From Our New Membership Recruiter
Rice Lake Chamber member have you ever asked yourself "Why do I belong to the Chamber? What value do I receive?" Good Questions. As the new Rice Lake Chamber Membership Recruiter, I need to have some pretty good answers to these questions. Probably the major reason for joining a Chamber lies in the fact that the Chamber is a primary source of local, state, and national business data. The Chamber is the hub of the business community. It is involved tourism/promotion. economic development, networking, business promotion. The Rice Lake Chamber sponsors Business After
Five, Salute to Industry, Hunters' Feed, and social/business activities. When it comes to "value received" we should probably use a John F. Kennedy phrase. "Ask not what the country (Chamber) can do for you, but what you can do for the country (Chamber)." Members work on several committees that add value to the Chamber membership (such as the Business & Education Committee, the Marketing Committee, and the Tourism and Promotion Committee). So based upon the above, we need your help! If you know a business or individual who should belong to our Chamber, encourage them to join by calling the Chamber at 715-234-2126 or me at 715-296-7181.
Thanks,
Bert Richard
