We look forward to seeing you at the Hyatt Regency Monterey for the Central Region Consortium's Annual Planning Meeting, June 6-8, 2012!
Several of you will be arriving earlier in the week to participate in the C6 meetings. We will convene our two groups at noon on Wednesday to enjoy lunch and transition into the Regional Consortium planning meeting.
Jim Andersen, CTE Co-Chair; George Boodrookas, outgoing EWD Co-Chair, and I met earlier this week to prepare the final agenda for June 6th - 8th. What was introduced to us since we met with you at CCCAOE in March is Part II of Van Ton-Quinlivan's, Doing What Matters for Jobs and the Economy. Jeanine Estrada and Erin Larson will be sharing that CCCCO Workforce & Economic Development presentation with you.
Center of Excellence leaders, Michelle Marquez and Elaine Geartner, will add detail to the recently released Regional Industry Profiles, and regional EWD Center Directors will share resources that are available to support the work of Doing What Matters for Jobs and the Economy. In addition, we have presenters for topics you previously requested.
For the first time, the CRC will be hosting a Chairs' Reception on Wednesday from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Refreshments and a no host bar will be available. Additional guests are welcome to attend, but we must ask that a $20 fee be paid for each guest in attendance. Checks should be made payable to YCCD.
We have a full agenda with time added for networking and a great time!
