CENTRAL REGION CONSORTIUM LIST SERVICE MEMBERS:
This month the Central Region Consortium will be offering you two outstanding opportunities to build and strengthen regional partnerships, share best practices, and support student success. On February 24, 2012, Merced College's Business Resource Center will host a REGIONAL AG MANUFACTURING FORUM with opportunities to hear from many of the region's industry leaders in the areas of workforce preparation and training. On February 28, 2012, Fresno City College and the Statewide Career Development Advisory Committee will offer the annual regional career development workshop. Intended for faculty, counselors, and career development professionals, this workshop will showcase the student-inspired career 'journey' experiences of ROAD TRIP NATION. In addition, new tools and best practices for career development will be shared with participants. A detailed agenda and online registration is now available for each of the activities mentioned above. Each event is open to all interested in attending at no cost. Go to http://www.crconsortium.com. Scroll to the EVENTS section for a listing of current and future regional and statewide events.
The leadership of the Central Region Consortium would like to thank each of our regional leaders who offered their time and talent to plan each of these events!
We look forward to your participation!
Sincerely, Jim Andersen, CTE Co-Chair Dean of CTE at Merced College
