Building Partnerships: Organized Labor & Community Colleges - Bridging Language & Practices to Meet the Central Region's Workforce Needs
FRIDAY, JANUARY 20, 2012 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Fresno location to be announcedCarol Zabin, Ph.D., Research Director at the University of California, Berkeley's Center for Labor Research and Education, will facilitate the first of two sessions designed to bridge languages and practices of labor and California's central region college leaders, as they work to meet the emerging workforce needs for California. Merced College to host Best Practices Tour January 27, 2012
Plan to join central region colleagues at Merced College on January 27, 2012 from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. for a BEST PRACTICES TOUR and networking lunch! There is NO COST to participate! Lunch will be provided by the Central Region Consortium.

The day would not be complete without a SPEED DATING
experience with the Center for International Trade Development, the Workplace Learning Resource Center, the Career Advancement Academy, and a tour of the Business Resource Center.
