Morgan Technology and Transportation Education Program to improve the preparation of students, particularly girls and minorities in STEM skills at the elementary and secondary school levels. These proposals chosen will also assist in developing curricula and building the capacity of educational agencies to plan, implement, sustain, and evaluate transportation education activities in order to increase interest in the field of transportation and the number of skilled employees for the transportation workforce. Grants may be used for enhancing STEM through:
A) Internships that offer students experience in the transportation field;
B) Programs that allow students to observe scientists and engineers in the transportation field; and
C) Curriculum development based on examples and problems related to transportation.
