Since 1997, the Central Region Consortium office has maintained a hard copy of each new credit program application and associated back-up documentation (i.e., curriculum outlines) that were submitted by our regional colleges for review and endorsement. The space to store these copies fills a small storage room!
I have decided that it is time to purge these files and retain only the two-page application (cover sheet and signature page) for applications submitted between 1997 through 2008. The exception would be any regionally adopted applications. I can think on one at this writing. It is a regional application for RETAIL MANAGEMENT that was endorsed several years ago. All other copies would be shredded.
BEFORE copies of your 1997-2008 program applications go to the shredder, I want to ask if you would like any of them returned to you. If you do, email me before Friday, February 11, 2011. Since the cost to mail the copies to you would be beyond what I would expend, I can deliver them to you in Oakland at the CCCAOE conference in March or in Monterey at the Central Region Consortium's Annual Planning Conference (aka Retreat) in June.
A complete listing of all programs endorsed by the CRC from 1997 to present will be set up on the RESOURCES and PROGRAM APPROVAL tabs of the CRC Website once I complete the process of purging the files.
