Technical training for community college and other public school faculty who want to improve or expand their technical capabilities related to photovoltaic (PV) instruction will be offered at American River College, Sacramento, March 4-5, 11-12, and 18-19, 2011.  This training is funded by the US Department of Energy grant awarded to the California Community Colleges Chancellor's Office.

Please refer to the attached SOLAR INSTRUCTOR TRAINING NETWORK/U.S. DEPARTMENT OF ENERGY FLYER for detailed information about this training. A fixed stipend of $450, plus the NABCEP exam fee will be paid.  Travel expenses will not be reimbursed.

Another training session is tentatively scheduled for June 6-10, 2011 at Fresno City College.  A similar stipend will be offered.  Information about this training will be disseminated next month.
