CENTRAL REGION CONSORTIUM LIST SERVICE MEMBER:

Welcome to the October 2010 Central Region Consortium Update.  In this issue, we will provide you with information about upcoming regional and statewide events for CTE and EWD professionals, as well as a CTE Resource Guide for Carl D. Perkins, Title IC Basic Grant funds, AND more!
CTE RESOURCE GUIDE
Carl D. Perkins, Title I-C, Basic Grant Funds

The CTE unit of the CCCCO has developed a Career Technical Education (CTE) Resource Guide for the Carl D. Perkins Career and Technical Education Title IC Basic Grant funds.  The purpose of this Guide is to provide rules, regulations and reporting requirements for Perkins funds and to also provide links to many resources that are important for CTE Deans, administrators, and staff at the community colleges.  This document is still in DRAFT form, as the CCCCO plans to add additional information to the guide as it becomes available.  You will find the Guide on the CCCCO CTE Webpage in the section titled, "What's New" .

Questions about the CTE Resource Guide may be directed to Jeanine Estrada at (916) 445-4670, or e-mail to jestrada@cccco.edu.  Suggestions for future revisions or additions are welcome!

Are you interested in learning more about the statewide system? It's easy to get involved, and there are many ways you can make a contribution to this historic project.

Each project section is progressing through planning and construction at a different pace, so the best way to learn more about the status of the project's process in your community is to check out the project Website and calendar. Here you'll find an array of public meetings listed, both in your community and in communities around the state, along with the time, date, location and a brief description.
