Greetings!
On behalf of the stakeholders representing the 14 community colleges served by the Central Region Consortium (CRC), I would like to invite you to participate in the following upcoming Central Region events. The first of these events is a REGION MEETING that will be held during the CCCAOE Fall 2010 Conference at the Crowne Plaza Anaheim Resort in Garden Grove. Regional meetings are scheduled from 10:15 a.m. to 12 noon on Thursday, October 28, 2010. YOU are invited to present an EWD Center/Initiative Update during this meeting. If you would like to accept this invitation, please email Sue Clark by Friday, October 15, 2010 to have your name added to the meeting agenda. If you are not able to participate and/or would like more time to address region stakeholders, the CRC office will work with you to schedule and promote a "Meet the Region on the Web," Webinar via CCCconfer. All you need to do is ask! In NOVEMBER, the CRC will host a Manufacturing Industry Forum at State Center Community College's CLOVIS CENTER. The Forum, scheduled for November 5th from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., will serve as a region-wide effort to align the needs of this industry sector with the services available from community colleges in the region and/or state. OTHER 2010 CRC EVENTS: - The Central Sierra CTE Community Collaborative will host an Energy Summit at the Doubletree Hotel in Modesto on November 18 and 19, 2010.
- Community colleges and WIB partners meet at the Merced College Business Resource Center on December 3, 2010 to continue collaborative conversations. Virginia Hamilton returns to the region to facilitate this session!
