This email is intended to inform you of an upcoming Manufacturing Industry Forum and to solicit your level of interest in participating.  Please review the event details below, and reply to this email via the link below to let us know your interest (from very interested; I will participate. TO I am not interested.).

 

Interest in hosting the Industry Forum grew out of conversations that took place at the Central Region Consortium's Annual Planning Retreat in June 2010.  Planning team stakeholders include:  David Clark of Reedley College, Karyn Dower of Merced College; Gillian Murphy of San Joaquin Delta College; and George Boodrookas of Modesto Junior College.   

 

 

 

 

• We would like to bring together community college leaders and manufacturing industry leaders for informal conversations about workforce needs.
• We would like to ask each community college leader to invite a manufacturing leader (or leaders) to the event.  This may be a person who currently serves on an advisory committee or someone who is a potential industry partner for your college program(s).
• We will provide a written invitation for you to share that will include a list questions that will lead to meaningful conversations about industry needs and community college resources to meet those needs.
• Follow-up Webinars will be scheduled by the CRC office to continue conversations, as requested.
