You may purchase as many additional tickets as you like. Seating is a 1st come basis

Who needs a ticket:

Everyone who will be sitting in the auditorium - including infants No one is allowed in the Theatre without a ticket.

All pre-sold tickets will be dispersed ASAP

This is a very important email with dates, times and policies of our recital.  Please read it very carefully and keep it to refer back to!  If you have any questions about recital please do not hesitate to ask!

costumeProp and set Volunteers
  • We need parent volunteers to help build props and sets.
  • If you would like to help please let us know! 
costumeCostumes 
  • All Costumes will be passed out starting May 31, 2012
  • If your account has a balance you will not receive your costume until paid in full, this includes June tuition.
  • Costumes that are rented (this is for older classes only) need to be left in dressing rooms with names on them after the recital on June 16
  •  Recital T-Shirt - are purchased separately
  • Shoes and Tights are a part of the costume; DO NOT WEAR UNDERWEAR UNDER COSTUMES
  • Tights will be charged to accounts by April 15th, and passed out with costumes - please do not wear tights until dress rehearsal, if your tights get ripped, you are responsible for purchasing a new pair through Dance Inspirations.
  • All dancers should have correct shoes, if you have a question please see your child's teacher
makeupMake-up
  • Most females must wear their hair in a bun with no bangs or wisps. Some classes may need to wear their hair in and alternative style due to costumes.  Dancers will be notified when costumes are passed out. 
  • Boys - please have neat and recently cut hair
  • All students need to wear make-up A make-up sheet for females to follow will be available
  • Boys - please see Ms Carolyn.
  • Absolutely no jewelry please refrain from having dancers get their ears pierced until after recital.

JUNE 13th 2012 - FULL DRESS

  • Arrive dressed in costume.
  • Hair in bun unless otherwise noted by teacher - ABSOLUTELY NO BANGS!
  • FULL STAGE MAKE-UP! (Form to be passed out.)
  • Please be ready to dance in costume at 4:30 - doors will open at 3:00.
  • If all goes smoothly we will be done at approximately 8:00 P.M. but please be prepared to stay a little longer if necessary. All dancers are asked to stay till the end.
  • PLEASE TAKE ALL THE PICTURES AND VIDEO YOU LIKE ON THIS DAY!!!
  • ONLY ONE PARENT PER CHILD AT DRESS REHEARSALS. ABSOLUTELY NO EXCEPTIONS.
  • Any accounts that have a balance after June 1st must be paid in full by cash or credit card for your child to participate in recital
  • No non-dancers allowed at dress rehearsal
Pictures

  • Order forms will be available soon!
  •   All dancers have their picture taken in the class photo for Dance Inspirations LLC photo album.
  • Please be ready to go at your assigned time. 
  • Individual pictures can also be taken
  •  Bring address labels to help fill out forms quickly
  •  Photographer is subcontracted; if you have any questions or problems with pictures please contact them directly. 
  •  You will not be allowed to photograph your children at the professional photographer's station. Doing so holds up the scheduled picture time for each class and is an infringement of copyright.

  • DRESSING ROOMS OPEN AT 1:00 PM, ALL DANCERS NEED TO CHECK IN AT 1:00 PM, DO NOT COME EARLY!!!!
  • Dancers should arrive at the theater with hair and make-up done and costumes on. (Please wear a button-up shirt to cover the costume - Dad's old button up shirt works well.)
  • Water and a nutritious snack will be provided.
  • House opens no later than 1:30 PM.
  • Every single person including infants need a ticket to enter the theater
  • ABSOLUTELY NO PHOTOGRAPHY.

  • Volunteers help make the recital run smoothly.
  •  Volunteers are able to watch their child from side stage during the performance and from the audience at rehearsals.
  • We need the following number of parent volunteers per dance class: 
    • Inspired Kids 2 - 3
    • Combo Classes 1 - 2
    • All other classes (including Competition) - 1 parent (if needed).
  •  Please email Carolyn at info@danceinspirations.com if you are willing to help.
  •  A volunteer meeting will be scheduled
backstagerulesBackstage Rules
In order to keep things running in an orderly fashion the following rules have been set for backstage!
  • One adult may bring the dancer to their assigned area.
  • Attendance will be taken as soon as you enter the dressing room area.
  • Please make sure you check in to ensure a timely start to the recital.
  • As soon as your child is settled in, please go and find your family and friends -- too many people in the dressing room area can cause confusion - especially to our younger dancers.
  • There will be one or more adult assigned to each class to supervise dancers in the dressing room.
  • No children other than dancers will be allowed backstage.
  • Dancers are not allowed in the auditorium. 
  • Do not send food with your child to the dressing room - we will provide snacks.
  • Please do not send drinks - we will provide water.
  • Do not leave make-up backstage with young children.
recitalrulesRecital Rules
In order for the recital to run smoothly the following rules have been created:
  •  There is no photography of any kind allowed at the recital.
  •  Only one parent or guardian may attend the dress rehearsal.
  •   The dress rehearsal is the only time that the dancers can see each other perform.
  •   No dancers are allowed in the audience during recital.
  • All dancers are expected to stay for the entire show and perform in the finale.
  • Recital Packet $55 for one dancer, $25 for each additional dancer:  Includes 2 recital tickets, rehearsal fees, parent ticket to dress rehearsal - Due March 15th, 2011 - a late fee will be added April 1st.
  • This tickets need to be picked up and signed for from a staff member.
