David O'Brien to Present The State of Leadership 2012 at HRMA Event

 

David O'Brien will be the featured speaker at the Human Resource Management Association of Western New England's monthly dinner meeting on February 27, 2012. His presentation entitled The State of Leadership 2012 offers many valuable insights into the key dimensions of leadership success in 2012 and beyond. David O'Brien to Present Managing Stress Factors In A Changing Environment Workshop

 

As part of David's ongoing partnership with the CT Association of Nonprofits, Center for Professional Development, he will be delivering his very popular Managing Stress Factors In A Changing Environment workshop on Wednesday, March 14, 2012 at the Hartford office of CT Nonprofits. In this highly interactive, 3-hour workshop, leaders will assess their current stress management capacity while exploring a variety of techniques for effectively managing stress in and out of the workplace. The workshop also provides a meaningful framework for helping employees to manage stress more effectively. The 9:00 a.m. to 12 noon workshop is open to the public but registration is required. David O'Brien Announces Global Release of His Change Management Case Study

Welcome to another edition of the Leadership Compass Newsletter. I hope that 2012 is off to a good start for you. Like many colleagues I've spoken with these past six weeks, I begin the New Year with gratitude and a deep sense of optimism for what lies ahead.

In this issue, you will find a range of ideas and resources that reflect my current thinking on the state of leadership. I am grateful for this opportunity to share my leadership musings with you and hope that at least some of this content motivates you to think about your own leadership journey.
