Get out your day planners, call a sitter and make plans to join the JBF Sale as a volunteer! If you want dibs on the best selection, earn an additional 5-10% on your sales and have loads of fun in the process, then we want you to join us a Volunteer or Team Leader for our upcoming event!
We have gone to a full day of pre-sales to afford our volunteers more shopping time and shorter lines! The more you volunteer, the earlier you shop. All volunteers who work for 3 or more hours will earn an additional 5%. Volunteers and a friend are also invited to shop the 50% OFF pre-sale on Friday evening at 6:30.
There are some new perks for the Spring that we think you will appreciate!
At drop off, all Volunteers will receive their pre-sale passes. Volunteers who committ to 6 hours will also receive $5 in JBF Bucks; 9 and 12 hour volunteers will receive $10 in JBF Bucks or you may choose to have your $10 consignor fee waived!
Remember, you do not have to consign to volunteer! If you do not drop off, we will have your passes and bucks at the door.
Also new for the Spring are opportunities for volunteers to assume a leadership role at the sale. We have added Team Leader positions to take ownership of critical areas of the event - Inspection, Cashier, Hold Area, Break Down and the like. To be a Team Leader, you must be willing to commit to one full day of the event which is minimum of 12 hours (yes, it is a long day but we promise to feed you). Team Leaders may also be involved in some pre-sale training and planning. In return, you will receive 75% of your sales on all consigned items, $10 in JBF bucks or the consignor fee is waived, a fun JBF t-shirt to wear and keep, and our undying appreciation.
