Long Dance Home Lodge Meeting & Mixed Sweat

Home Lodge is a great way to create your community around Long Dance and this meeting is required for all Home Lodge crew as part of your commitment. We have some exciting changes to share with you for this year's Dance - now in its 21st year - and the word is "Twenty One's going to be Fun".
Join us after the meeting for a mixed Sweat Lodge and potluck (Sweat will start at 4 pm).

Hua has been pouring water for nearly 30 years. She is fully qualified to lead a safe, beautiful sweat and she creates a dynamic space of sacred prayer and transformation with her seasoned, experienced insight into the mysteries and wonders of the Sweat Lodge ceremony. Call with inquiries about organizing a Sweat Lodge for your community.
BACKGROUND:
Sweat Lodges were given to the people all over the world, thousands of years ago to help improve their lives. The Sweat Lodge is a sacred place to explore, develop and enhance our relationship to "All That Is" and it acts as an accelerator to spiritual growth. The ceremony is a powerful way to pray, and it cleanses us, heals us and helps us to grow.
There are several kinds of Sweat Lodge possible: Family Lodge (for men, women & children), Women's Lodge & Men's Lodge. Guests are always welcome, and Sweat Lodge ceremonies are also available on request for private groups and for individuals in crisis.

Men's Council and Men's Sweatlodge
July 30th 11am Council and 4pm Sweat Lodge
Circles welcomes Brothers to this special men's event, guided by Sun Dancer Eric Walther. Join us for part of the day or for the whole day and share fellowship while exploring native perspectives on ceremony and re-connecting with the Earth Mother and the divine feminine. After the council there will be a Sweat Lodge and potluck. It is our hope that this event will support our Brothers in a gathering that is fun & fulfilling.

NEW: OPEN CALL TO LEARN FIREKEEPING
Training on Saturday Aug 13th 10am/potluck
To all firekeepers (Long Dance Fire lodge) and to those brothers and sisters that are drawn to the Fire way: We welcome you to join us in this teaching. We will present everything you need to learn in order to take on this special Medicine Way: the physicality (hands on), the energetics of how to communicate and be in connection with fire, how to be in correct relationship with fire, service, and whatever births in the moment.
While it is not an absolute requirement, we strongly suggest that you have the Empowerment thru Ritual and Ceremony class under your belt before you take any Firekeeper training. There is one scheduled for July 9 & 10th.
Come join us for a powerful day. We will be at the Arroyo Grande site 750 Carpenter Cyn Rd. Those that are out of town or state can possibility attend via phone or maybe Oovoo video chat. Let Hua know if that is a possibility for you.
