A Message from Hua:
This quote from the article "A Circle of Gifts" by Charles Eisenstein from the November issue of Hope Dance really speaks to filling our lives with each other. Remember that you are the gift. The most priceless gift one can give is time. Time for others as well as time to yourself. In these days we must reinforce our connection to spirit and grow our community stronger for the times coming up. I invite you to re-dream your life and open to the possibility of a more active connectedness with your circles. Ceremonial circles, gardening circles, drum circles, etc. Actively cultivating and weaving ourselves into a force that can heal and uplift each other is a new paradigm of plenty for all.
"Community is woven from gifts. Unlike today's market system, whose built-in scarcity compels competition in which more for me is less for you, in a gift economy the opposite holds. Because people in gift culture pass on their surplus rather than accumulating it, your good fortune is my good fortune: more for you is more for me. Wealth circulates, gravitating toward the greatest need. In a gift community, people know that their gifts will eventually come back to them, albeit often in a new form. Such a community might be called a "circle of the gift."
With the deepest of gratitude I give Thanks to all that participated in the offerings we have put out there this year. I look forward to next year's offerings of Full Moon Ceremony, Sweatlodge, Drum Circle, Vision Quest, Spirit Dance, Long Dance and all the class offerings and more !! We'll be sure to let you know what's coming up.
Blessings to ALL MY RELATIONS.....

A Note on the Solstice from White Heart:
This year we are blessed to have the last Full Moon ceremony of the year also fall on the Winter Solstice: Tuesday, Dec 21st. Virtually every culture around the world marks this sacred point in the Earth's rotation when the darkest, longest day of the year now begins to bend its arc back to the light. So it is that even in the midst of deep stillness, a spark of brightness is born, invisible to the eye though it may be.
Jennifer Star, lunar journal creator writes in her guide to this lunation that this December 5th New Moon featured "planetary line-ups in a 'bowl' type configuration. This means that all the planets and asteroids are on one side of the chart." She observes that "this New Moon is a sacred vessel opening to a powerful filling-up to the upcoming Full Moon total lunar eclipse and winter solstice, which features a 'funnel' type configuration with the Moon being the focus ... There are some who think this Full Moon/Solar Eclipse/Winter Solstice on 12/21/2010 is the true 2012, and I wouldn't be surprised if it is on some levels because it really feels like a changing of the guard to me. We're really moving now!!" www.13NewMoons.com
Come celebrate this amazing transition and the deepest spiritual night of the year with us at Full Moon ceremony at Hua's. This will be a beautiful expression of our hopes, dreams and offerings to our community as we move into a wondrous new season of change and personal growth. AHO

A message from Hua: "A person may come to me feeling as though they have been psychically or energetically attacked. They may feel as though something negative has been attached, sucking their energies away. We call this feeling being shot with "dark arrows." I use sacred powerful medicines that have been passed to me through the years, to cut the ties of attachment, the energetic cables and wires which I can see attached to that person. I use special eyes and other clair-senses: guides, listening - my whole bag of tricks - to clean up what is not theirs, that which has gotten in the way, attached to where it does not belong."
