Azteca Mexica New Year - March 13-14
Hua and several sisters from the Central Coast will be going... anyone else interested?
There will be a Central Coast circle going to this event. We are looking to
have a crossover presents to support our Mexica Long Dance sisters. Do come and
participate.
Calpulli Tonalehqueh hosts the largest Azteca Mexica New Year Ceremony
& Celebration in the nation. Everyone is invited to attend on the
weekend of March 13-14, 2010 in San Jose, CA @ the National Hispanic
University. Our goal is to make it educational, sustainable and free of
waste.
The event is FREE to the community.

Drum Circle - March 18th This will be a place for prayer stick, community
bonding, and learning circle songs. Open to all sisters and brothers. Munchies and water are welcomed.
Day/Time: Every Third Thursday of the month, from 7-9 pm. This month's Circle will be on March 18th.

Upcoming 2-day classes are forming at a reduced fee for those who really want an enrichment into ceremony.
Class Dates (Must
attend both days): March 6th and 7th March 24th and 25th April 10th and 11th
Reciprocity: $125.00 with a $ 50.00 advance to hold a space.
Notify Hua of your interest and you will be added to the list. Space available for out-of-town visitors to stay.

Vision Quest, Elder Vision Quest Update:
We have found a site for the Questing at Dancing Horse Ranch in
rural Paso Robles. This is a beautiful spot where we can Quest and be safe.
All
are welcomed to participate in preparing the Quest site on March 27th,
10 am at Dancing Horse Ranch. We will be building a Sweat Lodge and
this is also a great opportunity to build community!
Quest Dates: April 22-25 May 20-23 (note: Thursday through Sunday)

with set up. Wood donations are gleefully appreciated, as are
monetary donations towards wood purchases.
There is a Potluck after Sweat Lodge, so bring
your favorite dish to share and a gallon of good drinking water to donate!
