Another Homecoming Weekend is in the books!  Thank you to all who "got back" to Quincy for the weekend and made Homecoming Weekend a success.  The weekend saw record numbers at our annual "Get Back" BBQ and pep rally and great turnouts at our pre and postgame gatherings.  And while the score didn't come out in our favor, we did have over 2,700 alumni, students, and friends cheering on our Hawks for the duration of our first-ever Homecoming night game.  And lastly, a full house of alumni commemorated the 100th anniversary of the QU Chapel on Sunday morning with a memorial mass service at which over 40 couples capped the weekend by renewing their wedding vows.  To view photos from the widely-successful weekend, visit our Facebook page.

Before our Hawks begin their conference schedule, they're taking on some pretty big Division I names in Notre Dame and the University of Iowa.  Let's give our team some Hawk support as we take on the Fighting Irish and Hawkeyes on their courts.  Alumni Services has secured a block of tickets for both games and tickets are just $8 and $5 for N.D. and Iowa respectively.  For details, visit the QU site.

Alumni Services is gearing up for a busy fall season.  October 19 marks our second annual Adams County Alumni Gathering.  This year's gathering will be held in conjunction with the unveiling and dedication of the new Pre-Law Center in Friars' Hall and all alumni are welcome.  On November 2, we'll be hosting our first ever Texas alumni event at Texas Motor Speedway as well as our 8th annual Colorado gathering in Denver, Colorado!  For details, visit the QU site.
