Ronald McNair Elementary Expands to Full Size

The footprint of Ronald McNair Elementary is now fully formed as footings are poured for the remainder of the building.
Elsewhere, brick veneer installation has begun, and roofing work and curb and gutter installation continues.
The school, which will hold approximately 700 students, is about 38 percent complete with plans to open in August. |
Southeast High Employees Enjoying New Office Space

Construction of the administrative addition to Southeast High is nearly complete, and staff members have begun moving into their offices.
A new entryway and signage greets guests to the school, which is 98 percent complete and at the punch list stage.

Laughlin Primary Undergoing Transition to Training Facility

The former Laughlin Primary building is getting a facelift, but the students who will get to enjoy it look a little different than those the school once served.
The building is in the process of becoming a professional development center that will serve teachers and staff.
Sample classrooms will be set up for use during training, as well as conference rooms and office space for the professional development team. |

Grimsley Cafeteria Addition Begins, Gymnasium to Come

Drivers on Benjamin Parkway may have been wondering: What's all that construction activity near Grimsley High? The answer: The school has been undergoing site preparation for a cafeteria addition.
Grading has begun at the site, which is about 2 percent complete. Bids for the renovations to the gymnasium are under review. |
