20 Years Of Memories - Gala This Weekend

Dear Players and Friends,

20th Anniversary - Field of Dreams

Hundreds of games will be played at the Field of Dreams each spring. Those games range from youngsters playing tee ball to teens playing very competitive Major's League games. Every Sunday at noon the Challenger teams play - truly a heartwarming opportunities for kids with disabilities to enjoy the sunshine and play some ball. The Field of Dreams has hosted five (5) of the ten (10) Challenger Days (drawing hundreds of Challenger Players from the surrounding area) and will be hosting Challenger Day again in 2013. Also, a First Responders' Tournament, in which five (5) local Fire Companies and Police forces play in front of all our players. Our organization could not be what it is today ... a positive force for the youth of our community... without the volunteers. Read the Full Press Release Here.

The annual Gala & Silent Auction is the league's premier fundraising event, which provides funding for field maintenance and improvements as well as equipment purchases for the players. Proceeds from the event enable us to operate without taxpayer support and keep our player registration fees low.

When: May 19th, 7pm to Midnight
Where: Waynesborough Country Club, Paoli

Some of the hot items from this years auction include:

1. A football with the original signatures of 19 Heisman trophy winners.

2. A trip for 6 to Washington that includes so much stuff it would take another email to explain (value in the thousands!!)

Please consider contributing an auction item. The gift should have some value, worthy of receiving bids.

Some gift suggestions would be sports equipment, clothing, art, gift baskets, collectibles, services, event tickets, camps, you get the idea, anything. The item will be placed on a table and be part of the auction available for all attending.
