BPALL Opening Day is Saturday, April 2, 2011. Check www.bpall.org for Field Status and Game Schedules!
Dear Players and Friends
Friday afternoon the Phillies open their 2011 season at Citizens Bank Park... then Saturday morning, BPALL opens its 2011 season at Field of Dreams. The fields are prepped, the kids have been practicing and teams are ready to play ball!
Thank you to everyone who helped prep the fields, form the teams, and to the managers and coaches. BPALL is a 100% volunteer group effort. If you are looking to get involved, there are plenty of opportunities.
This Tuesday evening, April 5 - 7:30 pm, we will be meeting at the offices of Toscani Lindros to discuss BPALL's Gala and Silent Auction.
The BPALL Gala is Saturday, April 30. We need volunteers. Please contact me directly if you are interested in helping with the Gala.

Looking for a project this weekend... You are invited to help the boy scouts working at Field of Dreams this weekend!
Boy Scouts to rebuild handicapped access ramps at Field of Dreams!
Saturday, April 2 - work starts at 9am
Sunday, April 3 - work starts at Noon
Project: This weekend the Boy Scouts (led by Alex Wilson, working toward Eagle Scout) are replacing the floorboards on the three handicapped access ramps at "Field of Dreams." These handicapped access ramps were originally built by BPALL for the Challenger Day event. On Challenger Day, and throughout the year, disabled kids use the "Field of Dreams" to play baseball/softball. The ramps make it safer and easier to access the field via wheelchair.
Adult and teenager help needed this weekend! They will need electric tools (like drills), circular saws, power drills and hammers, among other things. The boys are not allowed to use some of the tools, so adult help is needed. Please contact Alex Wilson (awilson1114@gmail.com) if you can help and/or provide tools. Thank you in advance.
