Dear Players and Friends

 

As you know, Berwyn Paoli Area Little League is 100% volunteer.  Everyone is invited to Field of Dreams this Sunday, March 6, to help us begin to prepare the fields for play.  
  • Work Day starts at noon on Sunday, March 6. 
  • Please check in at the Toscani Concession Stand.
  • Work gloves are a plus.  Dress for mess.
  • Everyone is encouraged to attend!  
Thank you in advance to the brothers at Drexel University's Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity for helping with our next BPALL Workday.  March 13th will mark the 9th time in 5 years that they have helped out at Field of Dreams!   Everyone is invited to that workday as well;  starting at 8:30am, ending by 2pm... breakfast and lunch will be served!

Moratorium on Composite Bats

Little League International has issued a moratorium on the use of "composite" baseball bats unless the bat has been specifically cleared for play. Whether you already own a bat, or are considering purchasing a new bat, please take some time to read about this topic and review the approved bat lists. Go to Little League webpage here.

Capture the attention of hundreds of parents and family members gazing toward the outfield as they watch a game!

 

There is still time to order an outfield sign to advertise your business. Signs are 3'x4';  $350 per year or $250 per year with 4 year commitment.  For more information contact bpsheila@yahoo.com.  

 

Update:  Team Assignments

Alabama 2005Baseball players:  Majors and Minors should have heard from their managers.  CP7 and CP8 teams will be assigned this week and players can expect to hear from their Managers by March 9.
  
Softball players can expect to hear from their Managers during the week of March 7.   Practice will begin as soon as the weather and field conditions permit.  Games start April 2.
  
Tee Ball players can expect to hear from their Manager by March 10.
  
Challenger players:  Once again there are over 20 boys and girls registered for the Challenger team.  Practices will begin in late March with the first game tentatively scheduled for Sunday April 10.  Expect to hear more details from Coach McAneney and Coach Kashatus by next week.
