Greetings!
Bruton Farm-to-Table Beer Dinner | Tuesday, May 8, 2012
INCLUDES 4-COURSE MEAL & BEERS Join us as we explore the best that our region has to offer along with some of the finest beers from Italy.
The farm to table, or slow food movement celebrates fixing food with local ingredients, directly from the field to your table.
Special guest Gianni Vanni of European Wine Imports will be joining us for the evening to share more information on Tuscany, Bruton, and the slow food movement. Treo will be working with local farmers to source ingredients from within 1 hour of Treo. Our beer features for the evening are from the two Tuscan breweries that have helped to pioneer the slow food movement.
"Slow Food has been great for craft breweries in Italy. What we're doing - good beers, naturally made - really fits with what Slow Food is all about,'' says Iacopo Lenci, founder of Bruton, who also credits Teo Musso, owner of the influential Baladin brewery, with helping drive the craft beer revolution in the country.
